Tankxfer - Ouch, man. We had a slight hail storm here a couple of months ago and my son and I were out doing errands...he was driving and we ducked into a closed bank drive through for protection from the hail. It wasn't very big ice chunks though...not like your storm, I'm sure.

Man I'm nervous. My truck got nailed with hail Monday. Mostly roof and hood. I had no idea our hoods were aluminum. Should be interesting the cost of this fix.

The hail was golf ball size to softball size. Storm lasted for about 30 min. We were in a trailer at work it was not pretty. Forgot to mention new windshield, new passenger side mirror, the plastic between the hood and the windshield was replaced. At the same time I had some stuff taken care of from an incident involving someone who was stuck. All they had was a chain. Chain broke and hit my tailgate also. So all together I ended up with a new hood, roof, tailgate, and the left side of the rear bumper. So I guess i have 3/4 of a new truck.

My truck had the hood, roof and entire right side covered in tiny hail dents last summer, $6,200 later and the PDR guys worked magic. Not a single dent left. They were able to get the dents out of the hood no problem. The only part they replaced was the beltline rubber mouldings on the passenger doors that were beat to **** from the hail. PDR is the BEST!
