You're truck must have been bad, $6200!? Never heard of PDR that much.

Yep. I guess it was about $5,200 in truck damage. They gave me $1k for the Bakflip because it had dents on it. Makes me feel better that I got reimbursed for that crap cover..

Yes everything is more expensive here. When I got rear ended it was just over $5000 in damage.

No offense taken bud. Either way is bad. I'm just glad insurance took care of it. I should try and find the invoice to break down the costs.

To close out this thread, I had the truck fixed last week. They hammered, bondo'd and repainted the whole hood. It didn't come out perfectly...there's a "high spot" where the dent used to be and if you walk around the front of the truck, you can find just the perfect spot to stand and see it...it bends the reflection of the sky in a funny way and is obvious if you look for it. You really have to look for it....I can't tell from driver's seat and am not sure how important it is....I traded in an '03 FX4 for this one and it had some scars after 10 years of use. It's just a truck!

To the guy's credit, they pointed it out and offered to re-do it if I wasn't happy. At this point, I think I'm happy enough. Here are a few after pictures...

Ruby red too huh? How'd they match it? Cool that they pointed it out for you, most won't do that.
