Default Finally pulled the trigger!!!!

Some of you probably remember various threads I posted since April asking about the new F-150's and talking about getting one. After much indecision, searching, talking to dealerships, I finally pulled the trigger this morning and inked a deal for a new truck.

It is a 2012 F-150 5.0L in Sterling Grey with a 5.5' box. Packages and options include the luxury package, Sony Navigation package, moonroof, sliding rear window, and a spray-in liner the dealer will install at a later date.

From my current truck I will transfer the brush guard, Rigid floodlights, and bug deflector. I am going to remove the tonneau cover and sell it as it is for a 6.5 box. I'm also going to sell my spare HD taillight set so if you're interested in either of those items let me know. They will be listed in the classifieds section soon. I'll use the money to get a new tonneau cover.

Anyway, picking it up on Tuesday. Just wanted to share!

Thanks Logan. Sure hope I won't regret it! I remember when you got your new truck---almost the same as mine except you got an EcoBoost. You're happy with the truck itself?

Oh man I'm more than happy with everything about the truck. All the little things my 2010 didn't have like auto up and down for both front windows, 2wd e-locker, 12v plug in, 4" info display, select shift, cooled seats....it all makes a difference.

Sounds like a nice one. Got to have pics when you get it home. Congrats. If the 5.0 in the F-150 is comparable to the 5.0 in the Wifey's Mustang, you will not regret your decision.

BTW, why not the 3.7L
