Default Finally, My New 2011 Truck!!!

After months of repairs and going to arbitration on my 2009 F-150 I finally have my new 2011 truck! This truck is so freaking sweet compared to the 2009 that I had and I am glad that I fought it out. The new truck is by far much much better in many areas i.e. shifting (very smooth), no more hesitation (instant response from the pedal), and way more powerful compared to the 4.6L 3V. Lastly, the 4.2" LCD is really nice.....

I took a couple of quick pics when I took my wife to the doctor and will post more soon. Here are the specs:

  • 2011 XLT SCrew 5.0L 4X4 Tuxedo Black Metallic
    3.73 Limited Slip Axle
    Trailer Tow Package
    XLT Convenience Package
    XLT Chrome Package
    XLT Plus Package
    36 Gal Fuel Tank
    Select Shift Transmission
    Keyless Entry Key Pad

To make this short & sweet, the 2009 had severe hesitation and transmission issues resulting in a replaced tranny at 17k miles due to burnt out clutches and most of the internals. I also had many other issues i.e. TCM & ABS module failures (TCM failing again), transmission failing again (slippage) and other issues but what got me the new truck was a BBB hearing and I won my case.

Thanks! I am enjoying it very much. My wife even noticed how smooth and quiet the new truck is compared to the old one. This truck is amazing and all I can say is that if you or anyone else have the same issues over and over then keep accurate records, be persistent and fight it out and you may be surprised.....I know I was!

Yes, the metallic paint appears 3 dimensional and the chrome really pops with the black truck. Thanks!
