so i just joined the falken at3 club. was looking for an aggressive tire with decent on road ride quality, not E rated that was affordable. i got them in 275 60 20 mounted on my new method grid wheels. so far i am very impressed. to be honest they werent my first choice but i was limited $$$ wise and at $167 per tire shipped these fit the bill. plus DTD was running a very nice memorial day sale that made it even better. once i get back on my feet from all the money ive been spending ill look to upgrade to a wider tire but for now these will do. smooth ride and look great. no offroad yet but by the looks im sure they will do fine

I know it's a F150 forum, but I put a set on the wife's Expedition as well. Love these tires. And she is impressed with how smooth they ride! Its a little strange having 2 vehicles in the driveway with the same tire in nearly the identical size.

had a big rain storm here and Moore, OK flooded pretty good. hitting puddles at 40mph and not movement off the road.

Just ordered these in 275/60r20 (33.1"diam.) from discount tires eBay store for $616 + $100 off coupon bringing my no tax to .CA, free shipping price to $516.00. $129 per tire is a smoking deal. Wasn't planning on getting them so soon, but couldn't pass it up.

A little update. Purchased these Nov or Dec 2016 and have been quite happy. Did get the LT version, so no high silica tread compound but extra tread depth. Anyways, very happy so far. Smooth and quite with great snow traction. Not a mud tire but, well, they are not a mud tire right? One thing I have noticed is that the wet traction seems to be decreasing lately. Now maybe its just that I have become more accustom to these tires and just baby it less than I used to... thats a very real possibility. Tons of tread left; maybe 10k on the tires so far. Not really overly worried, not like they are LACKING traction in the wet... I just seem to remember back in the spring having MORE traction. I will be curious to see how they do this winter. Hoping for a nice, strong, tire testing winter ahead

Update on my Falkens after about 5000 miles: Was hunting a few weeks ago around Mt Hood and driving a mix of snowy/icy/muddy/rainy/hailing roads (paved and dirt). The tires resisted hydroplaning very well. Driving up the mountain pre-dawn on icy roads, I didn't have any sudden breaks of traction. In snowy pavement, they broke loose at about the same point as the Cooper M+S unstudded tires I was running last winter.
In cold slightly muddy conditions and deeper snow, I felt my old Duratracs were a little better, but the Falkens still did OK.
Overall, especially for the price, I think these Falkens are great deal.

Over 20,000 miles and traction is still excellent. Zero issues with the tires. Wear rate is still on target for 45,000 to 50,000 out of this set. Pretty awesome for a 6,000 lb. truck.

How do you like those Monroe Load Leveling Shocks? Did you notice a difference in ride quality from the rear end? More bouncy, smoother, less prone to hopping around?

Slight bit of ride height from them. Looks great. Ride quality is nearly stock while running empty because the coils aren't compressed much at all while cargo box is empty. While loaded or towing they are awesome because they keep the truck from sagging so bad. They do eliminate some bouncyness over bridge joints and things on the highway. I really love them. And they are WAY cheaper and easier to install than add-a-leaf or air bag kits.
