What's the biggest i can go with a level kit ? I'm on fuel wheels that have a nice offset that poke out of the fenders about and inch, maybe more..
Do they make these in a 285 75 18 ? Or just 285 70 ?
Been going back and forth between duratracs and ko2 but I really like the look and price of these falkens

I hand calculate my mileage using fuelly.com. What I noticed was that on stock tires my MPG meter was optimistic and with 285/70-17 tires it's spot-on. Like, it's within 0.0 to 0.2 MPG of being correct with hand calculations each time. I also verify with GPS.

When you go to a larger, heavier, more aggressive tire the laws of physics say that you will not get the same MPGs ever again. It's impossible.

Just ordered a set in my stock tire size 275/65r18. Discount Tire had them at $161/tire and a $75 rebate on top because it's Labor Day weekend. Can't wait to have them installed next week.

My current tires are the stock wranglers with about 47k miles. I probably could go a little longer, but they are almost 5 years old, have had numerous patches, and the price this weekend on the AT3Ws was too good to pass up.

When I first started looking at new tires (oh about 10k miles ago), I thought I really wanted load range C Goodyear All Terrain Adventures. But I think a P rated AT3W will give me a better balance of tough and not being too heavy.

I'll post pics once they get installed.

Got the tires installed today and took it to Firestone after to have the alignment done (I have a lifetime alignment at Firestone).

Man they look great. I'm hoping for at least 50k miles out of them. If not, they still will be better than the stock Goodyears I think.

Got mine mounted today. They're definitely heavier than my old Michelins. Takes a bit more acceleration to get them moving, but they look great! Looking forward to rough conditions with them.

They are definitely a heavy tire. I've lost 1.5-2mpg after replacing my old BFG KO's with these, but I do like them. I'll see how the highway mileage is next month when I drive the truck to Houston to deliver some of my son's stuff that he couldn't take when he moved there.

Do you guys think these would be good on a 2001 ford ranger 15 inch. The largest size I have on my sons truck now is 235 75 15, its a supercab 2 wd. I thought about a 255 70 15, but it may be too wide. I am looking at grabber AT2's and mastercraft axt's also. General was running a 70 dollar visa through Walmart, but the 235 75 15 grabber comes only as a LT rated tire and is $120 a piece and the others are about $98 in that same size. What do you all think? I have the mastercrafts on mine and love them, but my truck is a f150. Those falkens look great by the way.
