Default Factory window Tint

Looking to get my front truck windows tinted (2011 f150 super cab). I want them to match the factory tint in the back, does anyone know what percentage they are? i called my dealership and they said 13 or 20.

AHHHHHHHH.
They are 18%. 15% or 20% will match. I would go with 15 since more light comes in the windshield.
AHHHHHHHH.

Some brands of tinting film vary in darkness %. I have 20% on the front windows of my '10 XLT Screw and they are 1 or 2 shades lighter than the factory rear windows. When I had the from windows tinted on my '07 Screw with 20% they so closely matched the rear windows I could hardly tell the difference.

Default Ford Windows Suck!!!

Ive had my two front windows on my BRAND NEW 2011 f150 replaced 3x because I've been getting scratches all over them and Ford WILL NOT back you up on your warranty because its "nature related". Brand new truck with windows that look like ****. Anyone else been having this problem?

I had the dealer accessories guy tint my fronts 20%... he said it was as dark as legal but it wouldn't be as dark as the factory rear... and he is right. The back windows are "privacy" tint. It's close, but the front is less than the factory rear. It might depend on the brand of tint too. ( mine 3M )

Just want protection and a way to cool the cab in the georgia heat. Never put tint on windows but I am burnin up. Is 35% good (legal) as long as I get a good brand that reduces UV rays and Heat? Some say 99% UV protection. Does the percentage between 35% and 20% make a bigger difference than the proper film or brand? Not so much doing this for looks. Has to have a purpose.

Georgia's window tint law limits you to 32% for the front side windows. The percentage is the biggest difference.
