Default F150 & Guns

Morning Everyone,

I've been pondering in having a permanent gun in my Lariat and was hoping that you guys would post where do you have them. I would like to have in concealed (of course) but easy access in case of any emergency. I've seen a few that have a safe in the globe box but , personally, I do not like it. Once I have that figured out, then my shotgun will be next.

Post them pics..

Permanent? Nowhere. My gun comes with me when I leave the vehicle.

Aside from that, a lot of folks opt for the Vault safe in the center console.

This. I would not leave a weapon unattended any longer than necessary so definitely not permanently. I have a tuffy lockbox...

Mine goes in a holster between the driver seat and console and comes with me when I get out.

What i meant is to put the gun in an accesible spot, not to leave 24/7 there. I worded it wrong

Likewise, a Tuffy underseat lockbox installed a year ago. It'll accommodate the OEM jack in original position plus a few other "items" depending on size...

Holster on my belt. Gun gets stuck between the seat and center console on my right side, easy to grab, or it sits in the cup holder. Back in the holster when I get out. No point in locking it up when you're in there since its entire purpose is to be easily-accessible.

If you lock it up and you run into an emergency where you need your gun, you're already too late.

I went with the Tuffy bc it accommodates the factory jack.

I am going to mount a Dara holster inside the center console so it's out of site while I'm driving. I would not want a cop thinking the wrong thing.
