I'm almost positive you can just replace the screen, but idk if that's DIY territory or something you need a dealer for.

you left the ed off the thread name it looks like......

seriously, you should be able to replace the plastic, but I would recomend you try two things first depending on the damage. After all it might help and cant make it worse.

They have plastic cleaners at the auto part stores, try using those, I know they remove scratched on headlight covers just fine,

Also some steel wool and window cleaner has worked fine on plastic as well as glass in the past, just keep it well lubricated with window cleaner.

I had mine out. I think it's (2) 6mm screws up top and tabs on the lower half. Once the screws are out, leverage from the sides and pull towards you.

Thanks guys, you have been a big help. If I can't get the scratches out with plastic cleaner, ill just re order the piece. Its pretty cheap to replace and will give me a piece of mind. Someone told me the plastics nowadays are really cheap and scratch easy. I used a micro fiber towel and window cleaner the first time but i guess the dust is too abrasive. I bought this stuff called "Plexus" recommended to me by my tint guy so ill try it out next time if I can buff the scratches out.

The lens is part of the instrument cluster.

This 3M product is a little expensive but it does wonders on scratches. It's a very fine polishing compound. It's also used for polishing aircraft windshields.

I wish these places with the parts selector would provide the part # (ford) so double-checking can be done.
