Default Engine won't start

I have a 2011 V8 platinum and the engine turns over but won't start. Tried multiple times with the same result. First time I've had a engine problem with this truck since I bought it 2 years ago. If anybody has experienced engine problems like this please elaborate. I'd like to take a stab at it before taking it to the dealer $$$. Thanks.

what motor? 5.0 or 5.4? Or did they discontinue the 5.4 for 2011s? Or just add the 5.0 as an option?

2011 would have either the 5.0 or 6.2

I wish I could help. My brothers 14 5.0 has had this happen twice and had it towed to the dealer. Truck started fine for them each time. They have not been able to find anything.

A faulty accelerator position sensor giving PCM a WOT reading will result in a no start. can simulate this ( on any newer truck ) just by holding pedal to floor & crank over - will only start when pedal is depressed-

Default Faulty Electronics

I'm assuming it has something to do with the electronics. Recently when I would use the remote start and then drive off, I noticed my driver window would not slide down. I would have to put it in park and restart the engine and it would work fine. Something to do with the remote start circuitry. Anybody experienced bugs with the electronics? I'm going to disconnect the battery and see if the computer/electronics will reset.
