Not everyone has the same needs/wants...but I have no use for a locker
on my 98% pavement queen. But a LS that doesn't have clutches that wear out like the factory LS works for me.

And at least 90% of that 98% wouldn't realize they had the locker I speak of if you didn't tell them. I figured that out a long time ago. I don't want my slip as much biased... just eliminated.

That's not an issue on a 98% pavement queen so the TrueTrac works fine for me. But for someone that does more offroading the locker would probably be a better option.

I don't go off road. ... ever... period. I have an atv for that. My pavement truck does great with a locker.

That's cool. I've been driving trucks with LS for over 30 years so that's what I prefer.... and a LS that doesn't have clutches to wear out is a bonus to me

The whole reason I started this thread was because I opted for the open diff and a few times now I've ended up stuck in the snow along side a ditch with a snowmobile trailer and needed that little extra over regular 4x4.
Go riding for a day and it snows a foot where I parked. Couldn't hardly move. One time I had to use the sled to help pull me out...should of took pictures...funniest thing ever.

Haha sorry about that thread derailment. That was partially my fault.

Too me part of what upsets me is not having control over my vehicle. If I want to
Turn of tc and turn the Locker on in the winter to be a jackass I should be able to.

Hey it's no problem at all.
To everybody, it's good to have everyone's opinions, views and experiences...also fun to drive like a jack@$$ when space and conditions permit.
