Default Dual climate hot on passenger side cold on driver side

I have a 2010 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4. During the winter time my passenger side only blew out cold air. About two months ago the passenger side started blowing out heat only. Drivers side is working normally. I’ve had two blend door actuators installed and they go bad almost immediately. Does anyone have any advice as to what this can be?

What was the brand name on the actuators?

Default Dual climate on 2010 f150 drivers side works on heat an ac but very hot on passenger

I had two actuators, the one behind the radio, put in and passenger side still blows very hot air. The actuators keep going bad almost as soon as I have them put on. Any ideas?

I’m not sure but would that make a difference? Do you think we are replacing the correct actuator? Is it the one behind the dash?

Try this: Key is the gear alignment also.

Default Dual climate

So will the alignment of gears make it go bad too?

That's the correct location. Yes, there is a difference between brands. Motorcraft parts are a bit shaky, Dorman are absolute crap. It's not a great situation. Check for damaged wires going to that actuator, as well.

There is also always a small chance that the door itself is damaged. Or even the HVAC control.
