Dual climate hot on passenger side cold on driver side
#12
OK if this one doesn't stump all of you, I don't know what will. I have a 2012 Platinum am having the same issue. Driver's side works as it should while the passenger side blows 300 degrees and seems like it will melt the plastic.
1. Blend door moves freely.
2. I replaced actuator and recalibrated (no change)
3. Took it to dealer. Dealer said the actuator was bad and replaced it again (no change)
4. Dealer then said HVAC controller unit (BL3T-18A802-DE) behind dash was giving a code that indicated an internal short to ground. Replaced the entire HVAC controller, replaced actuator (again), recalibrated (no change)
It doesn't sound like anyone has run into this situation before, but the dealer wants to keep it for a week and I've got nothing else to drive. Desperately trying to lick this thing, but it is licking me so far.
