I'd buy a power wagon. no question about it.

just can't justify it for my needs though.

I don't see where the power wagon is 'better' in any area.

Raptor = more hp than the 'not-a-hemi'
Raptor = the suspension is very compliant
Raptor = 3/4 ton running gear - I bet you didn't know that... 31 spline front axles, 34 spline rear axles.
Raptor = Interior is very comfortable.
Raptor = not a Dodge **** heap.

The only 'advantage' I see is the narrower track of the PW. It's a moot argument, there aren't too many folks that will take a 50k truck into the rocks. If they can afford to do that, they can afford a real purpose built rig.

The Power Wagon has a solid front axle, so for a prerunner or mudding, its a wash, but for the harder stuff such as rock crawling or where you need more articulation, the Power Wagon definitely has the edge

You can say the same exact thing about raptors. Id be a little skeptical to jump a 50k truck

Umm, no. Solid axles do not have more articulation than IFS. They are stronger by design but do not have an articulation advantage.
