I wouldnt say thats competition for the Raptor. Dodge has been building the power wagons for years now and hey serve two different purposes. Its a cool truck, its just too bad its still a dodge. You can polish a turd but it will always be a turd. lol

I would actually buy a cummins power wagon if I could. Only dodge I'd ever buy. Only generation to not have the power wagon option was the 94-01. Power wagons came about before lightnings. Theyre pretty badazz. And the two are completely different animals. I don't think the raptor would fair to well in that scenario.

The power wagons actually came around in the 40's. I helped rebuild one for a local VFW in school.

(not the one we rebuilt)

Rapture is built more for high speed offroad...

Power Wagon with SFA/SRA...electronically disabled sway bar...integrated winch is more for rock crawling offroad

Two different animals...

I wish Ford would build a 4x4 for slower offroad rockcrawling...

Too bad they only put the hemi in the power wagon. But the electronically disengaging sway bar makes for a hell of a lot of articulation.

It's a bad truck, and beats the raptor in quite a few areas. Definately isn't designed for whoop-t-do's...

Same here. A Cummins Power Wagon rock climbing with 800 lbs of torque below 2000 rpm. *drool*

so ford has the baja/high speed offroad
dodge has rock crawling/slow offroad

who is coming out with mud truck? only one who is close is Jeep. but it would seem Chevy/GMC would be next to come up with a mud truck.
