DIY level installation
I bought a AS 1.5 kit a while back. I think I am going to install it myself then take for alignment.
Has anyone found a good DIY video or write up for this? I have a 2011 4x4 FWIW.
I am not afraid to tackle it at all.... just thought a I might pick up some pointers and make sure I have all the tools handy.

With all due respect, that video blows for installing a leveling kit on a 2009+ truck. The 2008's and older (which the video applies to) are much easier when it comes to getting the strut re-installed in the truck after installing the spacer on top of the strut. The newer lower control arms are steel vs. aluminum and don't have nearly as much flex downward as the older trucks. This makes getting the lower strut mount a colossal pain in the ***** to re-install.
You will need a good set of long crow bars and possibly a bottle jack to help spread the lower control arm apart enough to get the strut back in. Even then it's kind of sketchy. You may need to end up taking off the two lower control arm mounting bolts in order to get it on.
Either way you cut it prepare yourself for some frustration.

Read up on EPAS-Electronic Power Assisted Steering, before doing this mod yourself or you may be very sorry. This is on 2011 & up models. Critical error will void warranty and cost you ALOT....
Proceed Carefully. This is why my parts are sitting and I am trying to get dealer to install my Auto Spring kit.

I'm about to do this again on my new '13 actually...I got a 2.5 inch Autospring installed on my '11, but it wasn't fun. I didn't use a bottle jack. I plan on doing that this time. Where exactly do you place the bottle jack? There doesn't seem to be a good spot on the LCA to place it. I'm going with a 2 inch spacer this time.

OP- Now is a good time to get some LCA cams so your alignment can really be dialed in. They also help hold the position of the alignment better.
