Default Distance to Empty

My trucks must be a comedian. Am I getting better mileage as it gets older? Nope, my truck just thinks it's funny. 602 miles to empty? Yeah right!

What the most miles to empty you've seen on your truck?

Yes, it has the bigger tank, but it has never shown more than 560 miles to E before, and I always fill it up. Figured my truck was playing a joke on me, lol. It's a 5.4 also.

660 is the highest I've seen on mine. it uses your previous MPG to calc.

The 2 tanks before this I was getting about 630-650 per tank (when distance to empty was at 0)

Default 26 gal tank

546 on a 26 gallon tank with a 5.0
I would say that was more than optimistic LOL! I think I have driven it to 512 before the fill up and that was on fumes lol.

630 miles to empty when I first bought the truck....it came no where near that. I'm pretty sure it changes based on the driving style over a couple hundred miles...not your average. But I have a 36 gallon tank.

I've seen mine crack 700 MTE before after driving 55-60 for a long period. I've also seen my KM to Empty show above 800km when my Trip A since last fill up was at 400km for a predicted total of over 1200km.

I'd like to see the guys that say they get 25mpg for long stretches with the Eco show a MTE of 850-900+. If their math is correct, the MTE should indicate that.
