Default dismayed.

Well guys, I've posted about 3 different times on my rattling rear window. I took it to the shop this morning after the lead tech rode with me and heard the rattle. I recieved a call around noon and was told that this rattle is inherent to all 2011's. They said this was information directly from a Ford hotline.

I do not believe that every one of you guys have a rattle clunk sound from the rear window every time you hit a pot hole. Absolutely dismayed at this answer and not sure what else to do.

That really sucks. Time to try a different dealer and see if you are getting total BS.

No Rattle from mine at all, and my roads are horrible right now with packed snow and ice, so super bumby....sorry to hear about your window. I'd tell them you intend to bring it back every day until you can "lemon" it or they can install a new window or fix the current one. Once they decide you are serious about it, they'll put more effort into fixing it.....

Thanks for the suggestion guys. I took it to this dealer b/c it was closer to my home. But from now on it will be taken to the dealer where I bought it. I will get something done about it-b/c this is ruining my new truck experience-which is sad! I'm going to demand a new window when it take it back. How many times before it becomes a lemon?

I left mine off the build on purpose. Sucks that the op is having such problems though. They should replace the window.

FTR, the slider on my 04 has never made a sound.

See, I had an 08 with a slider and never had a problem at all. Now a 2011 and rattles like junk. Very disheartening. I'm starting to have second thoughts on buying another Ford. I hate to say it but I am-I just cannot seem to get any help out of the service depts.
