Well so far my guidelines have stuck since I bought it 3 weeks ago. And the lines better stick forever!!!

I am not sure how anything aftermarket would affect the lines but just throwing out ideas. As most of you know sometimes it is the last thing you expect that causes the issues!

I'm new to forums in general - so hopefully I'm doing this right!

I've had my 2011 F-150 for about a month now - my one complaint is the disapearing guidelines. I talked to the dealer - they say they haven't heard about it (although I forwarded them this forum), and to bring it in. To me it appears to be a software issue - I'm just trying to find a ryhme or reason as to when they disapear!

(by the way - my other complaint is that the floor heating pushes 4 times more air to the passenger then the driver side... my wife hates hot feet... but I like it... can't result to giving her the keys to drive either! Anyone else have that problem?)

I have the rear view mirror camera and never had this problem. The cool thing is that I added a Pioneer Douible Din DVD in the dash and integrated it into the camera and the grid lines also show up on the Pioneer Unit. Now that is slick! Makes hooking up the boat much easier and I am able to adjust the contrast and picture too.

Same thing has happened to my 2011 fx4 now two times. They are still off now. Was gonna wait until it goes in for service to see what the dealer says. Unless there is a solution found here....

I've had mine turn off so many times that I've stopped turning them back on, but I also plan to ask my dealer at the next service.

My camera is in the mirror. They have stayed on for me. But I've noticed they go away when I zoom in. The center line stays though.

Anyone sort this one out? System updates? My lines periodically turn off.
