Nope, the readings are there in Forscan, I've used them before I bought the Alpine to test accuracy of air pressure gauges, there's actually 6 tpms sensor pid's of which 2 will show nothing if you don't have a dually. I forget what the pid is named, but it's not TPMS.

The resolution of the factory sensors are down to .25 PSI.

I have a 2012 with just the TPMS light (no pressure readings) and i got one of these and it works great.
