Default Digital TPMS

I have 2014 F150 SCREW XLT, I know it has TPMS. However I was wondering if anyone has bought a aftermarket monitor with actually digital readings? I just purchased a very good/expensive set of tires and was looking for a little bit more monitoring of the tire pressures.

When I installed my aftermarket radio on mine I installed the maestro data link, that connects to the trucks computer. So, I now I can see the exact PSI of each tire. That’s what I did

It was a pioneer 4400NEX with android auto. The radio was like $500 plus another $100 for the idata module plus another $100 for the harness and faceplate. Plus a $200 install fee.

Awesome, thanks for the answer. I didn’t realize the factory sensors actual read the exact PSI. I figured it just sensed a difference in pressure and sent a signal.

The Alpine system I installed shows tire pressure and a lot more vehicle data on a 9" touch screen with nav.

no problem and remember that the radio you get has to be compatible with idatalink maestro in order for that to work. you can also clear check engine codes, look at other gauges like engine temp, rpms, gas, and tells you what doors are open etc etc with the idatalink

The Idatalink is a must to carry over sync if so desired and steering wheel controls and something else I forget.

yes your right about that. i forgot about the steering wheel controls and sync because i don't have that. i did read when i was about to install my stereo that most people just don't import the sync because the Bluetooth on the radio is better. but i don't know since i never had sync.

I may be missing something, I was playing in Forscan tonight and couldn’t find the actual PSI readings in it? Did you have to replace the sensors with a different version for your install?
