I posted this reply about 2hrs ago in another thread. should answer your question...

When the e-locker isn't engaged the no wheel slip feature is active where it will apply a little brake to the wheel that's slipping BUT it doesn't slow you down by reducing engine power. It actually works pretty darn good. I have yet to need my locker because of it. The guy in the vids below just happens to have an FX4 but it's not an FX4 specific feature. The second vid at ~20sec is the best test of it...one wheel in the loose stuff and the other on pavement.

that last video is cool. Good demonstration. Seems to be a good system.

So just making sure it will come on STX"s without electronic lockers because if it works like in that video It's ok if it doesnt and I seem about 50 trucks in 10 miles that match me requirements .... Thanks good post

has anyone had any luck or done any research on using an aftermarket locker or LSD on the stock F150 rear?
