How much time you are willing to put in dictates how well your truck will turn out. Here are 2 web sites to learn from which products you use is up to you.

http://www.autogeek.net/

http://www.adamspolishes.com/default.aspx

Start it right from the get go and the results will shine through. Both web sites have forums with them as well.

Its called Meguiars, and they make excellent products.

I use the Quik Detailer, MEGUIAR'S ULTIMATE WASH & WAX,
Gold Class Liquid Wax, and NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0.
All used with Microfiber cloths.

A good detailing job never hurts anything and will give you a sense of pride when your truck is all clean and waxed. BUT..Hate to tell you the pollen issue is another question. I have a good coat of wax on my truck but when it sits over night during pollen season I can see a yellow layer of the stuff on the hood. The wax may help with getting it off easier but unless you keep your truck in the garage...get used to seeing it there in the mornings.

Collinite 845 best wax I've used. I live in Phoenix so the dust here is insane but since I've used Collinite dust doesn't seem to stick as much and makes washing the car easier as the water just beads off. Make sure you clay bar too! You will be surprised what you get off even on a new vehicle!
