Compressor cycling fix
I would be looking at the temp reading from that sensor as well as system pressures to determine if the refrigerant side of the system is operating properly, if it is and the cabin air is not where it should be then there must be something wrong with either the plenum or the blend door itself.
.
If it were a blend door, wouldn't the temp stay constant rather than seeing it go up and down? ?
It may not fully open/close, that would give some temp changes. Maybe the actuator is seeing full open or close but the door is binding or partially blocked. Lots of variables.
P.S. The heater core and evaporator core housing directs airflow from the blower motor through the evaporator core and heater core. All airflow from the blower motor passes through the evaporator core. The airflow is then directed through or around the heater core by the temperature blend door. After passing through the heater core, the airflow is distributed to the selected outlet by the airflow mode doors

Completely slipped my mind but here's a resource where more up to date Ford techs among others congregate. Check the forums, http://www.flatratetech.com

Just got back from the dealer, 94 here and I have 46-48 degree air out the vent. Pulls down to 42 then cycles off.
Last night I had CONSTANT 50 degree vent air with outside temp of 84, so I decided to check and see how cold my low pressure side was under the hood. Not very cold and more importantly, you could grab and hold the high pressure side without any fear of it being hot. It was just ambient in temp or less.
So I went the dealer today, it was the same way so the service writer ran it back to the tech. The tech said while these compressors are meant to CYCLE MORE than previous years, there was definitely something wrong since my high side was not hot to touch. He indicated a possible weak or defective compressor/TXV.
Truck goes back on Monday!
I think I have found a Great Dealer Now! Unlike the dealer that sold me the truck!
