IIRC there is a delay until it gets approved, usually only takes 24 hrs.

On the 30th I confirmed the account via the email link they sent, when I log in it tells me that the mod has not unlocked it or something like that. I emailed them 2 times.

So I guess its not worth having access to.

Thanks

Last night I had CONSTANT 50 degree vent air with outside temp of 84, so I decided to check and see how cold my low pressure side was under the hood. Not very cold and more importantly, you could grab and hold the high pressure side without any fear of it being hot. It was just ambient in temp or less.

So I went the dealer today, it was the same way so the service writer ran it back to the tech. The tech said while these compressors are meant to CYCLE MORE than previous years, there was definitely something wrong since my high side was not hot to touch. He indicated a possible weak or defective compressor/TXV.

Truck goes back on Monday!

I think I have found a Great Dealer Now! Unlike the dealer that sold me the truck!
Just got my "all we can do" from Ford customer service on my crappy A/C today. Of course the customer service rep. could not authorize the dealer to add the $100.00 "Arctic Blast" service to get my vent temps below 49 degrees, because 49 degrees is within this dealers spec.

Ford is going to own this fix as long as I have this truck and I told the rep that. Got the short "Ok have a nice day" reply.

Ford customer service blows hotter air than my A/C for sure.

That is odd, I was a moderator on that forum back when it first launched 20 or so years ago and it never took more than 24hrs to approve an account, but back then it was strictly Ford and not the conglomerate it has become since.

Definitely worth it, or it was. Only reason I stepped down was because I quit the dealer and couldn't keep up with advances in automotive technology.

It doesn't register/add a member from another forum site. Simply go to their flatratetech.com with your browser.

Have no idea what you are saying. I went there, registered and got the confirmation email and clicked on the link.

I sign in and it tells me that the moderator has not yet validate my account so I am limited in what I can do, read only. See no button for new topic or post.

Yes I am aware that I cant add myself from here!
