I just got this figured out if you have the MFT system.

Activate Compass in IPC if you have MFT
IPC 720-01-01 xx*x xxxx xxxx

8 = compass menu in gauge menu available, no rear park menu
D = Reverse park aid menu available. compass available

IPC 720-01-02 xxxx xxxx x*xx

4 = activates compass in IPC to actually work, no other changes needed. MFT compass still appears to work too
E = 2 speed auto 4x4 menu (4A transfer case needed) compass works in IPC

Default On a 2013 STX

I added the compass module and wiring harness in the headliner and got the compass on the center display on my 2013 STX. No programming was required, it just worked. I have since upgraded my cluster to a 2013 King Ranch cluster and then enabled the compass via Forscan i now have working compass on both the cluster diaplay and the cemter display. Both read the same and work perfectly. Go with the cluster display as that compass is more appealing

Finally got the parts installed and now have the compass in both the center display above the radio and in the cluster. I did have to calibrate more than once, I’m not sure why.
