I am on My second F150 and are sold on them. Prior to 2010 I drove pre 2005 GMC Sierra's. They had two options that I really liked. Auto 4X4 which Ford is putting in their higher end models and Quadrasteer which is awesome. Once the government got involved in GM I swore to never buy another GM product. One thing I noticed is that Chevrolet nickles and dimes you to death on accessories.

Both my father and father in law drive less then 5 hear old silverado's, hard to tell the difference in the two since GM changes their interior and exterior every 20 years or so. But after they both drove my 2010 they wanted to trade outright even with the difference in MPG. Much more comfortable, doesn't drive like a big truck and there is definitely more leg room in the back. Hands down the only truck on the market designed to work.

A friend of mine bought a 2011 Silverado. It is a nice truck, but leaves a lot on the table in my opinion. The interior that he got was all black. I mean everything. It all looked cheap and molded. I was really disappointed. I know it isn't the most expensive model with all the options, but even the ones I have seen loaded out still looked cheap to me on the door panels and a few other areas.

The only reason I can think of , their only hope is the average truck buyer
is uniformed. Like the super bowl add, their only game is to BS any person
not aware of the choices. Brand loyolty is about all they have at right now!

Let's not forget that 1/2 ton Chevys are hideous. It's why I bought a Ford. I was coming from 6 trouble free years with my Colorado, and wanted a GMC Duramax. But I couldn't afford one. Plus the wife said I'm too short for a 3/4 ton (thanks dear). I couldn't bring myself to even try the Chevy/GMC 1/2 ton just based on looks. I'm glad now that I didn't. The more I look at them, the more I dislike them. Not wanting to reward the government for stupid behavior helped make my decision as well.
