Traded in the 09 FX4
Its here!! Traded in my 09 FX4 with luxury package, (well actually a lease return) and purchassed 12 FX4 with luxury package and apperance package. Ordered my truck on Dec 12th, and picked it up last week on Fed 8th. After alot of thinking I decided to go with Ecoboost, I only have 200km on the truck right now but so far I am impressed with eco.
So far, I have install lower black grill and new Rockford speakers in the doors and I have 2 12" Rockford subs and amps waiting to be installed. Hopefully get around to that in the next week or so. I also installed a Recon smoked third brake light and smoked the mirror reflectors and added led signals.
The truck is currently at the shop having a Rhino liner sprayed in and once I get it back tomorrow I will install the Peragon cover I have had sitting in my garage for a month now. Also have some led strips that I am going to install in the box as well.
I have some other random things sitting in the garage waiting to be installed ie) actuator for tailgate lock.
Enough with the typing, here are some pictures. I just used my Iphone but I will get some better pictures after the cover is installed with a good camera.
Speakers - Didnt want the tweeter exposed because of the ones already in the A pillar.

Nice truck how much did the speakers improve the sound I really don't want a sub or aftermarket head unit. I want to change the factory speakers if it makes a decent improvement tho. Congrats! Like the seats the best.

Speakers make a decent difference just running of the stock headunit. I will be hooking them up to an amp and it will make a larger improvement. I will be maintaining the stock headunit.
