Default Chevy Dare to Compare commercial, do it for fun

First, my apologies for swearing! LOL

I was watching TV today and a commercial came on saying Dare to compare your truck to what Chevy has to offer. So I did.

At least I tried to, their comparator tool didn't give me the option to compare my F150 Lariat Ecoboost 4X4 Screw with 157" WB. So I had to use the V8 model.

First Chevy does not offer a crew cab with a bed longer than 69".
Second, Chevy doesn't have the same towing capacity of Ford.
Third the Ford had more cargo capacity.

I LMAO. I took their challenge and they failed miserably! LOL

Theres a reason why both chevy and dodge are mentioning Ford in there commercials, there skeered. I havent read anything, but maybe they teamed up to try and top the beat best selling trucks in America!

There is not a better truck on the market right now. Chevrolet and Dodge know it. When's the last time you heard anything about a Tundra? Toyota can't compete either. I don't think they are even trying anymore. Lol

Forward: I love nissans - have 2 of them ( a modified 350z and a murano) and I have my 150 as a daily driver.

But you don't hear much from the Nissan camp bumping the Titan either…you might get a few hits on the frontier though…

I like it - America is in a rebuilding stage and the truck that is doing it is the Fords. If it wasnt for gov't cheese (bailout money) I don't know if Dodge and Chevy would even be around.

I tried to compare the F150 I got to all the others, and I can't! Apparently no one else makes a crew cab 1/2 ton with a 6 1/2' bed. Makes for some interesting research.

How many people they are targeting will actually go compare?

It's their way of luring in those that have never owned or considered owning a Ford.

Toyota and Nissan's main focus is on the mid-size truck market. They know that they can't compete with Ford, Dodge, and Chevy in the full-size market. I traded in a 2008 Frontier for my f-150. I have to admit, their mid-size trucks are a lot better than any of the American companies.

A coworker of mine has a 2008 Tundra. He really likes truck. When I showed him my 2011 F-150 he was pretty much speechless. When I showed him my 17.5 mpg average, he was floored. He's averaging 12mpg. Competition over.

I'm glad GM and Dodge got bailed out. The only reason the F-150's are so good is the competition that keeps pushing them.

Supposedly it's Ford and Dodge owners comparing to Chevy. A Dodge I can understand but a Ford? Those guys need to give up their man card!
