I am but I can't make it out there till Thursday and if its something major I don't want to keep driving it. The engine sounds fine and filter is clean and all fluids are good.

No worries the check engine light is for the emission mostly. You might have got some bad gas E85 will set mine off if I was towing. Just take it easy and get it into the dealer when ya can.

I'm not sure if your truck has one, but if it does, check to make sure your gas cap is on good and tight. I apparently didn't tighten it down on my work vehicle ('07 E-150) a couple months ago, and was driving down the highway when the CEL came on. I pulled over and the van was running just fine so I turned it off and started back up. CEL still on so I hopped out and checked the gas cap, and that's all it was. Hope it's something simple like this.

No gas cap. It could be anything.. but if it's not running crappy and misfiring you won't do any damage.

Maybe that's ur problem - u probably hav bad gas from truck sitting around not being driven - like u I hardly drive my 2010 screw however, I made some effort & got up to 9000 miles on it - have to drive it to prevent bad gas from forming varnish in the fuel system or u will get problems-
