Can you program your own ABS module?
I am a relatively new scanner user. I am using Forscan.. I suggest you try it. I would suggest you pay the $12 one year full license so you can get some customer support. The free license is the same functionally, but no online help.
It requires a laptop computer and an OBDII to USB adapter to load Forscan and connect to your vehicle. Get the recommended OBDII adapter. Don't screw around with a lower cost adapter. Avoid any unnecessary headaches.
Also best if you have WiFi internet available while you are connected to your vehicle. That gives you real time Forscan internet access to the real Ford Motor "As Built" files for the modules in your vehicle.
This allows you to directly install Ford As Built configuration of modules....like the ABS module. Don't need to first upload from your installed old modules. Forscan gets the As Built off the Ford site by itself.
Pretty nice capability.
Also can display real time data like wheel sensor speed reported while you drive. Lots of data from all modules can also be displayed or shown as a graph.
Forscan works with Ford, Lincoln and Mazda vehicles.
I did have Forscan fail to communicate to my failed ABS module a few times. It did eventually see it.
Also I never had to enter VIN number at any time. It gets that itseslf and loads correct configuration files from Ford.

I thank you for the reply
Upon research I did discover tthe failed to communicate response is not uncommon and people
had additional tests done only to find out its either the software or the OBDII causing it
This weekend I will try it again with the Forscan Software
[QUOTE=SilverSTX150;7439065]I was able to get the module to program and stil getting the lights
Now according to FORSCAN its throwing DTC (Codes)
B1596-20
P258A-E0
C116A-E0
Anyone have experence with these codes[/QUOTE
Did you install a new ABS module or
are you using a used one?
If new did you use Forscan BETA version to load
firmware?
Look on line
ro read about your DTC codes. Use the real time features to look at wheel speed
sensors while driving. Also look at brake pressure when you vary brake pedal pressure. Do you get a pressure reading? what engine do you have?

I used one, used prior in the same exact truck Prior to installing the New Module there was no reading
of anything ABS not even on ForScan now I get the reading of ABS System
The C116A is the Pressure switch in HCU so now its looking like I have to go back and
change the Pump as well as the Pressure switch in the HCU/Pump

The HCU in my 2012 F150 had a problem. Needed to replace it. So I replaced both tje hydraulics and electronics. I only found
one company
fixing the hydraulic side. They are in The UK. So I got a new ABS complete. That requires firmware load to make it work.

@SilverSTX150 May I ask what led you to getting a replacement ABS Module? My truck is having "issues - throwing codes about ABS Module"; however, no noticeable issues. I am trying to determine if its speed sensor or ABS module. Please advise.
Look up details online to see what fault codes mean. There is a troubleshooting fault tree on the forums somewhere. May be on Forscan Forum.
That is what lead me to replace the ABS modules.
My ABS and Traction Control fault lights were on. DTC codes lead to faulty high pressure sensor in ABS. It is not repairable (hydraulic side)..
I did use Forscan to look at wheel speed sensors first. Just in case there was a problem there.
Forscan also showed ZERO psi brake pressure from ABS.
Through all this the brakes worked just fine. ABS was not working.
