I saved my original AS BUILT file in Forscan. I then swapped the modules. The in Forscan took my saved file and over wrote the new AS BUILT file (it changes when you change the module) with the my original saved file.

My ABS lights went away but I still have the stability control lights/faults that I had before. They might still be there because I have a 2010 module and not a 2012 - or some other fault I haven't figured out yet, but I'm not sure.

But my ABS related lights went off and it allowed me to pass safety check.

"... in an attempt to repair it."? The repair didn't work?

I got my file from scanning the truck. You could use the info from the Ford website - it should be the same. Worst case if it doesn't save from the website downloaded info - you could enter the info manually line by line.

If the vin is stored in there, it will copy with that process.

Thank you both for input, is there an exact step by step instruction on how to do this
with Forscan??

If I scanned the truck with Forscan when I first used forscan will these settings from my truck
be in that scan (note the ABS Symbols were these when did orignal scan)

Follow the Forscan tutorials on how to save your AS BUILT files. Yes there is a step by step procedure. That's how we all learned.

Yes, when the system acts up its not because of the AS BUILT program, it's the hardware fails.

If you don't trust your current AS BUILT, get the Ford original download and copy the values manually to your AS BUILT. It may take some time but gets the same result.
