Built Myself a Lightbar
Built myself a new lightbar before Christmas and I finally got it powdercoated and installed on my truck with 4 Lightforce 170 lights. This truck has a ridiculous amount of light output now.

I had been looking around at light bars for a while, looking for something simple and discrete that isn't too flashy. I then decided to make my own out of 3/16" steel and a 1½" steel pipe. A nice textured powdercoat and it turned out amazing. I'm thinking about making a few of them and starting to sell them. They will fit on any 2009-2014 F150 with the 5.0 or Ecoboost. I have yet to look at a 6.2 to check if anything is different in that area. If their is enough interest then I will make a few of them and get them powdercoated. The are built in Edmonton, AB. Let me know what you guys think!

That looks pretty good, I may buy one. What does it mount to? Also, any idea on cost? I have a 42" light bar I could put on there, but the bar may have to be longer.

It mounts to the frame right on he inside of the opening in the lower bumper. It is no drill installation. It mounts to the two holes that are already in the frame. One is about a 1" round hole and the other side is an oblong hole about 1" wide. With the textured powder coating that I did on mine, the cost would be $275 plus shipping which I would have to do some measurements on to calculate. I can add to the length of the bar and change the mount hole locations for your 42" bar if you would like.
