Default Bluetooth Sync Question

Quick question. Got a 10' FX4 with the Sync. Is pressing the sync button and saying " Bluetooth Audio" the only way to get my music to start playing? or can i press a button to do that? Also when i have my phone streaming to my sync all my radio says is "Bluetooth music stream"...or something like that. Is their a way for my radio to show what song is on?
Thanks,

The Menu button and selecting the source will get you to the same thing. (I have a Menu button on my 2012).

I had trouble syncing my iPod to MFT and I decided to put all of my music on a USB flash drive. Works like a charm and it frees up the Blu Tooth for my phone. I had quite a time getting all from iTunes to the drive but figured out a way. iTunes limited the number of tunes I could transfer and I had to copy the remainder of the tunes a little at a time.......

I did 10 years in the Army and loved it. Only for family reasons thet I did not stay to retirement.....

Thank you for your service

Hi yones12,

When you see SYNC LINE IN, you have to select the MENU button then scroll to SELECT SOURCE. You will be able to choose Bluetooth Audio/Stereo in that menu.

Shaay,
Thank you, i got it working that way now. My other question. When i am streaming through BT audio the screen just says "Bluetooth Media Stream". Will it only show that? Or is there a way to get it to show the song that is playing?
Thanks,

yones12,

This might be available for you with a simple update. PM the VIN; I'll look into your software.
