Default Bluetooth Audio quit working

Well, under very suspicious conditions, my Bluetooth audio quit working about 10 minutes after I hit warranty expiration mileage in my truck. Bluetooth still works for cell phone usage, just not audio. Tried two other phones, same thing. Anyone else ever experience this? I have no interest in replacing radio from Ford. It is the My Touch System with Navigation. Thanks.

Try unpairing the phones on both the MFT system and the phone. Then unplug the battery positive cable for ten minutes.

I usually have to unplug the sync fuse every month. That fixes it and I don't have to repair my phone.

I would recommend unplugging the Sync fuse as well.

I have had the same issue. If you're connecting with an android phone, try going into the settings and make sure media audio is enabled. I think my setting may change when I have my phone connected to my Bluetooth speaker in the garage, start my truck and sync connects for calls only.

Using an iPhone. Ironically, when I went to delete phone to do master reset, the musical note was blue. It’s working again, without doing anything. Maybe it sensed what I was about to do!

If it happens again, I’ll try the fuse. Thanks!

I have this same issue. Warranty just ran out, and my phone quit connecting. I deleted the phone from Sync, and every time I try to reconnect, it wants me to turn Bluetooth back on. I turn it on, go to connect the phone and the Bluetooth is off again. If I pull the Sync fuse, which one is it?

Check your Owner's Guide to be sure, but on my '13, it's #2 in the fusebox behind the passenger-side kick panel.
