Default Bilstein or level kit? Help?...

I'm in debate between a fabtech 2"level or the 4 bilstein adjustable shocks. I'm going for a 22" wheel with a 33" tire. Are the bilsteins worth the extra 200?

I would go with the Bilsteins. They will give you the lift you want and improve the ride and handling.

I don't know what the fabtec cost but you can get a set of Bilsteins for $220. http://f150lifts.3dcartstores.com/Bi...2wd_p_122.html

I have had both on my truck. How many miles do you have on your truck? If you need new shocks go with the bilsteins, and kill two birds with one stone. The bilsteins are going to make your trucks ride stiffer and take out some of the body roll going around corners. I can't say they make your truck ride better it's a matter of opinion. Another option would be a rancho quick lift. My autospring 1.5 level was a good kit and leveled my truck perfect and was priced right. Good luck.

Just did Bilsteins all four corners. Love it and would spend the money over again to do it.

Bilsteins are without a doubt worth it. Wouldn't even consider spacers when given the option between. If you want a little more height you can go with Alex's f150 lifts system too, they're built of bilsteins.

What is the benefit of 799 dollar kit shown above vs buying two billsteing 5100 for about 240 bucks and using your stock springs?

Benefit? Everyones wants and needs are different. But, You get ON or Off the truck adjustability, You get 3" of Lift from our system that was engineered for the F150 with our Custom top mount, You get a top of the line 700 lb/in Eibach Coil Spring. Sturdier Ride, less body roll. Enhanced Off-Road ability. And they come out of the box ready to bolt on! Made in the USA, Lifetime Warranty. If you save your stock Coilovers...if and when you go to sell your truck, just unbolt our Kit and bolt the stock coilover back on and you Still have your investment. But, everyone has to decide what THEY want.

Agreed everybody's needs and budgets are different. It is a good looking kit, but the op was asking if bilsteins are worth an extra 200 bucks over a leveling kit. I'm guessing he is not installing it himself, I could be wrong. The time you add instillation and alignment most people cant afford to spend close to 1000 bucks for a leveling kit. Just my opinion. I was not saying any thing bad about the kit all the features you mentioned would be nice to have.
