Default Best Halogen Bulb Available?

At the risk of getting flamed, I am going to ask a dumb question. I am looking for the best halogen headlight bulb that I can get. I am leaving my headlights stock for now. I am not looking for a HID vs Halogen debate. I thought about putting HIDs in the stock housings, but have read that they don't have a very good light pattern so I am set on Halogens (till I can afford OEM style projectors). Thank you

I replaced mine with PIAA #19618 bulbs, much brighter than OE ones. They also have 1yr warranty

Do these give off that annoying blue hue?

The light they emit is white however when looking into the beam at a certain angle you get a blueish tinge.

If you want pure white stick on some LEDs

I wouldn't mind getting more light from the headlights, I'm just wanting to stay away from the blue looking ones. Just not my thing.

I had the PIAA bulbs in my old F150 as well as my wife's FJ. I love them. I remember there was a write up somewhere (either here or an FJ Forum) on the lumens that each bulb produced and the PIAA was either #1 or #2. They are a brighter white than stock.

Is there a led light that will be as bright as the sliver stars? Also what do people do to their fogs to make them brighter?
