Default Bedliners-yet another thread...

Ok. I plan to get one very soon. I've pretty much ruled out drop ins. My question...bed rug or spray in. There will be a tonneau cover over it. I'm concerned about spray ins fading. I know you can get a uv protectant but it nearly doubles the price. Comments and suggestions appreciated.

If you have a cover, why not a mat and spend the money saved on something else? Either the OEM F150 mat or a horse mat from a tractor supply store.

If you like the look of a spray in and you have a cover then you don't have to worry about it fading

Line-X spray in. My 2002 had one and never faded.

I don't get the point of a rug. Wouldn't it dirty quickly. A mat seems more practical.

Just saying......

Beg Rug is the nicest but a bit more pricey.

Line-X spray in has a UV protectant option that is fade resistant. I've had mine outside for the last year and it looks as shiny as the day I had it sprayed in. I also have a horse mat trimmed to fit the floor that is about 1/2 in thick rubber to protect the bed from cargo impact. Covered with a BAKflip F1.

I have the premium Line-X installed and just had it replaced. Apparently I got a bad batch because it was faded pretty bad. But I can say that it was replaced free of charge and it has been in my bed for 3 years. 2 1/2 years of that it was covered with a Paragon cover. They said it is only the 3rd truck they have seen with this issue ever. They did stand behind their warranty though so I am happy

Bedrug for sure:

The best price I could find was through one of our vendors here on the forum. His price, including shipping, was better than most people's price just for the Bedrug.
