I agree with SteveLord, with a Tonneau cover over the bed you could save a few bucks getting a mat to keep the contents from sliding around.

The bed rug's interesting, but why? No quads, no leaves...everything would get stuck like shi7 in a Mexican blanket. Guess it's for those who don't use their bed?

I have Reflex (I hope that's the same name used elsewhere) spray in bed liner in my last 3 trucks, I find the LineX stuff too hard. The Reflex stuff stays almost a little pliable and grippy. Of course if you slide stuff around a lot that might be a PITA, cause stuff don't slide too readily on this stuff. Never had a problem with fading, but I also run a tonneau cover.

Why no quads or no leaves?
I haul mulch, the mtn bikes, yard debris, etc in the truck damn near weekly. The rug (it's more like high density foam with some rug like weaving on top) is permeable. Oil, fuel, etc can be powerwashed off and through. What you cannot sweep or wash out, you can vacuum out easily. It's nice on the knees when you're crawling around, and it won't scratch up the bed. It's held in place with adhesive backed velcro strips and can easily be removed or taken to another F150.

Not being defensive, but I don't think many people realize how durable the Bedrug product really is. Don't knock it til you try it.

BedRug for sure. Has all the versatility of spray in or drop in but can be moved to a new truck if needed, doesn't tear up knees or legs, and won't cause any rust on the bed over time that can happen with drop in liners. It keeps things pretty much right where they are too. No sliding around.

Depends what you do. A bedrug would last the first time I loaded an engine in my truck...... if the stupid thing didn't tear it would end up in the dumpster. I haul heavy things that sometimes are required to slide across the bed surface.

If you are the average pickup owner that never really uses his truck bed heavily the rug would be okay...... but I still would prefer the ease of cleaning a spray in liner.

Spray in hands down here....

FWIW, slid 840lbs worth of flooring, on a pallet, being loaded by a forklift in the last truck. Operator set it down and just pushed from the tailgate to the bulkhead. Was I excited about it? Nah. Did it destroy or tear anything? Again, nah. Didn't even leave lines in the rug's top. The Bedrug is surprising durable and it looks great too.

I've had my BedRug in two different trucks over the past 3 years and have hauled at least 4 blown motors in it leaking every fluid imaginable on it, transmissions leaking gear oil all over it, other various 20+ year old car parts, and random other dirty things. I have never had a tear in it anywhere and it can be cleaned off completely with a spray of good degreaser and a power washer. Give it 10-15 minutes to dry and good as new. It is much much more durable than most people think.

I do not like them because when putting a cover on it typically needed cutting somewhere. Things slide around, and dirt, stone, etc tends to work its way under it and tear up the paint.

I have had spray in on my last 2 trucks and love it. Very clean look. And had held up very well.

Never had he Bedrug, but it does look nice.
