Default Apim from 15 Focus

Is there a way to make this apim to act as it I got it from an f150? I have change some as-built data and am trying to do a vehicle health report to maybe trigger an update to sync. The 15 Focus didn't have vhr available at all. Can I get this to work? I just upgraded from 4.2" screen. Everything else works great. Climate, nav, radio, phone pair, etc.

I think the VHR is tied into a subscription service. Do you have an active Sync subscription on your truck? I know it actually dials up an 800 # over the phone to transmit the vehicle report.

VHR is free, you just have to have the phone paired, hit the button and say "vehicle health report", if the engine is warmed up it'll dial an 800# and that's it. Sync is not part of a VHR.

You would need to get the vin# of a truck with the system and use it's as built data for that module.

Curious what all parts did you have to get to have the larger screen.

I was trying last night, but maybe I'll try it after I drive around today. I hit the voice button and say vehicle health report, but sync says "try saying...", like it isn't even an option.

Screen, apim, media hub, and screen bracket for f150. Built a harness with the changed pinouts.
Nerdh3rd is the one who did a writeup on 4.2" to 8" mft conversion in this forum. He mentioned part numbers and everything. Pics and diagrams. Not too difficult to do.

Ahh yeah I saw that write up. More than I'm willing to get into at this stage of life.

After driving a while I tried "run vehicle health report" and "vehicle health report". No dice. I'm not sure what particular info in the apim could be limiting it from having vhr as an option. It doesn't show up in menus or anything.

Does it respond to other verbal commands?
