Hi all,

I have been lurking for awhile but finally created an account. I am currently looking at a brand new 2013 STX. 4x4, 5.0 V8, Supercab, and Tow package with the 201A equip group.

Dealer is giving me a price (including incentives) of 27,900. Couldn't get him to go any lower on price but they are throwing in a spray in bedliner. Also I talked to a few other dealers in the Green Bay, WI area that I live in, and all three told me that they couldn't even come within 1400 of that price and if it was real I should go buy the truck. My research disagrees and it seems like it is a pretty decent price, but not quite what i would call a fire sale.

What do the folks here think? I was about to call the dealer up and buy it today, but now I'm second guessing and checking out the incentives on XLT packages.

Seems like a good price to me!

 

What's the sticker price? When I was doing my shopping back in January I found that most of the XLT and STX models were offered at 20% off sticker.
FX4 models on up seemed to be 18%. Keep in mind these were prices "before" negotiations.

 

That's a good price, check it out with Edmunds.com to compare the options.

 

Sticker price is 36,330. "Invoice amount" is 33,643 so they are giving it up for around 1200 less than invoice before the incentives that get me down to 27,900.

That's a good deal brother. Plus the $450 spray-in liner, I would be all over the truck.

j/k. That's a good price. When it comes to a new vehicle, a fair price is all that matters. If the buyer doesn't get screwed, and the dealer doesn't get screwed, then everyone wins. Enjoy the truck.
