Default Annoying Problem

I just installed In Channel AVS Window Deflectors on my '11 screw, and the window will not stay up when I hit the automatic up. It will go up and come back down, I have to hold the button for the window to stay up. Happens on both sides. Has anyone else had this problem. Its really annoying. Thanks fellers

Yeah I found one guy who posted a video on youtube that had the same problem and he said that for him it went away over time. Hope it does for me also. Maybe I should have gone with the standard instead of the in channel.

Adjust the clips that wedge into channel and leave windows closed for 48 hrs on hot day. Mine work great with auto-up.

So glad I didn't get the "one touch up" feature...totally useless.

When it works it's really convenient.

Adjust them how? Do you mean lower them? Thanks

I had the same problem on my truck - the stupid "bounce back" feature of the front windows. I've also got the AVS in-channel ventvisors. Here's how to eliminate the bounce-back problem while still keeping the auto-down feature of the windows.

1) Inside the cab, remove the plastic cover on the passenger side near the floor.
2) Now remove the plastic cover over the fuse panel. Press on the two tabs on the side to remove the cover.
3) Fuse #1 is for the driver's window; fuse #3 for the passenger window.
4) Turn the ignition to the "on" position (don't start the truck).
5) Working with the driver's window first, with the window up, have someone engage the window in the auto-down mode. While the window is going down, pull out fuse #1, the window should stop going down. Put the fuse back in.
6) For the passenger window, do the same thing except pull out fuse #3. Put the fuse back in.

Once you go this, the bounce-back feature is gone, and you'll be able to put your windows up and not have the deal with the bounce-back feature triggering on your in-channel ventvisors.

No, the auto up function won't work, but the auto down will work.
