Well. I had a quick look at the hood sensor this morning. Didn't look out of place to me or anything. I'll take a more comprehensive look at home. Where would I find the door sensors?

Inside the door latch itself. Unplug and reconnect that hood switch, make sure there's no corrosion or pushed out pins and try it again.

could try pushing down the hood switch and then hit the remote lock to see if you get the double honk.

If a door is "open" it should indicate on the dash when the key is turned on. If not indicating, I would be still looking at the hood switch.

Thanks fellas. Checked all the wiring and it look good. I tried DonTas's suggestion and got only one honk. Bent the bracket upwards a bit and we are good. Problem fixed. Thanks for the help fellas. Truly appreciated.

perfect! that's what happened to me too. that bracket gets bent out of shape so easily!!
