Default Adding remote start to my 2010?

I have a 2010 lariat with Sony/no navi screen and i have a few questions. Heated and cooled seats. Wanting to add an OEM remote start. Will the heated seats and heated mirrors come on with the auto start? My dealer quoted me 375 installed for a separate key fob and 475 installed for an all in one fob. How much can these be purchased else where and how involved is the install? Plug and play? When it comes to wiring I'm somewhat a novice.

Get a two way aftermarket remote starter, factory transmitters suck.

I half agree to the above lol. After market defiantly has far better range but is very invasive when it comes to the install, and if your like me and you don't like cutting harnesses and what not the factory option is not a bad one if it installs the same way it did in my truck. I had the oem starter from factory but wanted better range so I added a second oem 2 way starter that offered the better range and a very easy install, 100% plug and play for me hopefully for the same for you. There's a good video on YouTube that shows the install and how easy it is. The oem 2 way is good probably 700' + range even though they claim 1000'. If you want far better than that go with an after market one. Btw the added key fob is a small 2 button remote, I barely even notice it.

I am also interested in a remote start system. I sent you a PM last night, but have been having some trouble out of this site. Did you happen to receive it?

No worries and thanks for getting back to me. I have alot of weird stuff happen with this site. Alot of times, my screen will just be blue where the threads should populate. I have to refresh multiple times for it to finally come up. Figure the message not getting to you is just another quirk. I will send you the info in another PM tonight. If you don't see anything in the AM, please let me know so I know there is a bigger problem. Thanks for the help.
