I sort of cheaped out and put Skyjacker Nitro 8000 shocks on the rear (they were $45 each, 5100s were a little over $100 each).

You will notice a much improved ride with the Bilsteins. The truck feels much more planted. Steering responce is much better as well. The ride is stiffer but in a good way.
Very nice truck Matt and thanks for the input!!

Definatly not a rake like the guy is telling you. I love mine i did all 4 (rears not adjustable). Front super plush. I ordered some deaver springs for the rear to get the rear as plush as the front, i have nothing negative to say about the front now but i may end up selling my brand new 5100's and my roadmaster active suspension settup if i can find a good deal on some upper arms and midtravel coilovers

BTW at the ht i chose the front way 1/2" higher then rear. Added the RAS for axel wrap fix and it just so happened to raise the rear 1". So my truck sits exactly how i want right now. Rear 1/2" to 1" higher than front

Love the way it sits now.

It seems y'all have the same exact setting I have except for the RAS install. How does the RAS raise the back end?
I have a similar problem and was looking to put in a long add-a-leaf instead of the cheaper block option but the RAS may be all I need after reading this.

Well I should be getting this installed next weekend. Waiting on the 3" block for the back which should give me a slight rake which is what I want. Thanks for the replies.

I have my bilsteins on the top setting and my truck sits dead level....I have taken a tape to it. I do want some rake so I am either going with a 3" block or some helper springs as I do haul some. I can say it does ride stiffer...in a good way. I bought my truck at the same time as 2 other guys I work with bought one. They are all identical. Mine rides better than the other trucks with the bilstiens. We all go to lunch every day and trade off driving. Their trucks are stock.

I should add that mine sits level with my tool box in it. I don't have a lot of weight in the tool box right now. It is a low profile shallow box.

Well i think it raises the rear a bit because you install with the truck in the air, then when your done and drop it i think it doesn't sag as much. Which is good because the leaf design on our trucks (and the titan and chevys) is crap. Theres 2 leafs and an overload and literally if you sit on the bumper your riding on the overload. This keeps it from sagging and tightens things up. I thought it might be too stiff but it actually rides pretty nice. hard to explain. Like its firmer but smoother. Like it slowed down the rebound a bit. Theres 2 shims they give you to choose the % of stiffness you want.

My deaver leafs should be done being built in a week or so. If may not be able to use the RAS with them well see. If you want hold off on ordering and ill sell you mine if they will fit. I have a 2011 and iknow RAS said there was 2 different versions for that model year. Some early and some later build trucks have the little clamp on the rear of the leafs in different locations. Basically just measure from the leaf mounting eyelet to the clamp to see what you have. Nowhere on any website tells you this so be careful ordering!

Not sure yet. As much as I want 35's I don't think I will. Probably something a little more economical. Ultimately I wanted a 6" lift with at least 35's but after weighing a lot of pros and cons and with the fact that I have 3.55 in the back-end I have rethought my strategy a little. Most likely I will just go with something a little more aggressive and something to fill the wheel well a little more since I am going with a smaller lift.

To be perfectly honest with you....these FX'4s are actually real nice stock but I wanted to do something to get the front up a little.
