Your truck has remote start built into it, all you need is a key with the extra button like this.

Get two of them and use Forscan to enable the built in and you won't have to carry an extra fob, the only downside is the range won't be as good as the separate fob r/s.

Do you have a place that sells these and will it have to be programmed to start the truck?

This kit comes with the antenna as well. https://www.ebay.com/p/11-Thru-14-F-150-OEM-Genuine-Ford-Parts-Remote-Starter-Kit-Plug-N-Play-RPO/1623105250?iid=222935224226&chn=ps You program them yourself using Forscan all you need to do is have them cut to work mechanically.

Once you know if you have the VSS or the old Series 100, then I can get you your options.

I am suspecting he has the VSS, if he does, then he already has the antenna, and only needs a key or the redesigned replacement fob.

If he does have the VSS all he needs is the RMU and r/s using cell phone.
