2012 Raptor?

I still look at the 2013-2014 Raptors and had several chances to buy one, but just couldn’t. Why, I guess because I have a 2013 F-150 Ford Platinum, and there is no comparison in comfort! I understand you don’t buy the Raptor for comfort, but I just couldn’t do it. I had to pickup a friend’s 2013 Raptor, all the options but graphics and store for him. He kept telling me to drive it daily, but after just a 2 hour ride home in it, no thanks. I did start it and drive it occasionally just to keep the battery up, but was always glad to get back inside my truck.
Today my truck has about 38K miles I enjoy driving it just as much as the day I brought it home. Note it was a 2013 bought in February of 2014.
I’ve driven the new aluminum Fords, Platinum loaded out, and while they have more Tech, to me, they are not as good or as comfortable a truck! But that’s my opinion and most every other person walking, wouldn’t agree. But that’s ok, I love my truck and I can honestly say, Ford doesn’t build them like that anymore! I’m just not, going to sit on 2/3 a seat, have my engine constantly shutting off and restarting, have my truck tell me to stop and get coffee, have to change tires and shocks to try and get the rearend to calm down........that’s just the beginning of how I feel about the new trucks.
I prefer the look of, and of course the V8 of the Real Ford SVT Raptor. But a friend whose had 3, including the new Raptor said he likes the new ones because they are more refined. So to each their own, enjoy your Ford.
