Default 2012 paint issues

I just hand washed my new 2012 for the first time today. I noticed the drip rail on both sides above the door had bubbles and holes in the paint. I also had black overspray over the adobe accent on the back driver's side quarter panel in front of the back tire. It was built in Missouri on January 31st. Anyone else have these paint issues?

I took my truck in last week and had the back of the cab repainted by the dealer. The adobe accent color on the bottom half of my truck was painted horribly around the area where the bed meets the back cab. Dealer took care of it and had truck back after 4 days.

I plan to take it by the dealership early next week. I hate to go without it after not even having it a week.

Default Nope, I'm Dearborn

Mine was built the same time, but in Dearborn. Washed it today. Nothing weird regarding paint.

Ford trucks have some pretty awful paint. My '11 F250 was just as bad as my '11 F150. Orange peel like crazy and hardly any clear.

I have the same thing. Just noticed it yesterday because it was the first time I've washed my truck. On the seam between the roof and where it connects to he door arch, from the front to the back there's bubbles.

What scares me about repaint is the years down the road you can always tell. Seems the no one like to properly prep paint and it will peal or wade differently. I never like repainting anything that isn't a solid color unless its the entire vehicle and they actually prep the surface.

Take a look at the bottom of your doors, underneath where it's not visible from standing. Mine has no paint. It's just primer.

You think FoMoCo would have some QC revisions with the amount of people alone on here complaining about paint issues. Clearly something needs to be done at the factory, just think of the money it is costing FORD to have the dealerships fix this work
