do you have a 4x4 or 6.5ft bed? because the dealer told me last week the 36 gal tank is standard on one of those options, or with both of those options (like me).

don't you at least have to run a couple tanks of it through before your engine really "switches over" and you can get a good reading on mpg, power, etc?

Thanks!! Yup i filled up, and like i said, definitley more power, but the MPG went down the toilet. With it only being an 11% spread difference it really isn't worth it.

@JT04-- I have the Scab with a 6.5 foot bed. I guess it just seemd wierd because in the manual when it lists optional or standard it went by trim level instead of bed size. But helloooooo money money when it comes fill up time, lol. I'm coming from the 16 gallon tank on my 05 Mustang GT. lol

Default e85 in my city

the e85 in my city is 2.22 per gal where gas is at 2.75 it helps alot for me cuz i have the massive tank in my truck where i get around 600 miles per tank the added power is nice cant really tell that big of a dif in acceleration but as long as it is cheaper than gas then ill use it

but is it really? no you are changing your oil every 3k.... who knows what is REALLY doing to the internals of the engine? You are getting less MPG.... so where is the savings? The old saying, "The grass isn't always greener (or yellow) on the other side" comes to mind
