Default Tire upsizing

Hello all, I am new to this forum game. I need some info regarding my 2006 F-150 FX4 supercrew. I have factory 275/55R-20's right now and I want to go to the Nitto 275/65R-20's. Can I do this without lifting or leveling? Is anyone running this tire on the factory 20" wheels?

You would need a leveing kit to run those tires.

Thanks Almira, didn't know if it got through or not. I have never used anything like this before.

Well, you are in a good place for questions to be answered. There are a bunch of really good guys on here that are very techy. All in all we are a good bunch of folks who enjoy talking about our trucks and things that go along with them. I hope you will stay and enjoy our company.

You will have to use a leveling kit ... a 2" or 2.5" leveling kit in order to get those tires ...

Is anyone running Nitto Terra Grapplers on the 20" factory wheels? If so are you pleased with them?

Welcome to the site!! So you've got the 20" stockers?? Those are my favorite wheels that come on the F150. If it wasn't for me doing a lift around Christmas time I'd definitely be buying a set of those wheels.

Yeah I have the stocker 20's. I like em and just wish I could find someone running nitto terra's on them. They are going to be costly and I was hoping for some info on the tread life road noise. I like a little howling but am more interested in the tread life and sizes being used on these 20's.
